Residential

A Richards' Renovation

Retired clients, Pete and Sally, are exploring their options for home improvements to better accommodate Pete’s mobility needs. This design offers a residential elevator for Pete to easily maneuver through the home. Sally and Pete’s young grandson, Adrian, is considered in the design by remodeling his current bedroom and providing a play area on the first floor where Pete can supervise and play along. Sally’s interest in crafting will be honored with a dedicated space to do so in a bedroom that will double as a guest room. The final design will also offer ample options for coming together as a family, both indoors and out. ADA and traditional design will combine to create a home that all three of them will enjoy for years to come.

Residential II, Fall 2020

Mouser Remodel

The redesign for this mid-century home features a balance of wood, neutrals, and colors from that wonderful era. With simple lines, the home is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Multiple gathering spaces for family and friends are offered, including a hot tub on the newly enclosed second front porch. Overall, this is a fresh update without losing the historical charm of the structure.
